Hopes and Dreams

Hey everyone. I know I have posted anything in a long time, but it's not that I haven't been writing. It's that most of the articles I write don't get posted online so I can't share them on here. I've also been working on a few different stories. I think the next book will probably be a collection of short stories I'll be writing
I'm also working on a new novel. Just started it today. It's a spy novel called The Sleeping Bear. It's about a number of Cold War era Russian spies that begin to resurface and a CIA agent on the verge of retirement has to team up with a new younger spy to find out why Russia is beginning to reactivate all these old spies.
It will be written in a similar style to The Conflict. I plan on using flashbacks to help the story move forward like the Conflict. There will probably be less action but more intrigue and treachery. When it's finished I'm hoping to get it published for real as opposed to self publishing on a blog again. Either way I hope you read it and enjoy it.
I still have high hopes of getting The Conflict published in print someday. My dream is of course to make a living as a fiction writer. Creating stories is something I love to do. Ever since I was a little kid using my imagination to play with my toys I would create scenes, stories, character backgrounds, plots and pretend like it was a movie or a book. I also love telling stories to my nieces. I never tell the same story twice and they are almost all stories that I make up right there off the top of my head. It means more to me than almost anything (except my family of course) to succeed as a writer.
If you know anyone who works in publishing or has connections please let me know. I have to make this happen, or at least I need to know whether or not I can.
Sorry I didn't publish any poetry, fiction or articles this time. This post is more of an explanation of what I want and a plea to all my readers, the few of you that there are, to help me reach my goals. To do whatever you can to aid me in achieving my dreams. Thank you. Until the next time everyone!
