Good morning readers. It's currently 3:08 AM and I'm awake because our 3 year old was having trouble sleeping. Now that we're both lying down and relaxing I figured I'd post a long overdue update on me, my novel, and the other projects I've got going.
First off I want to apologize for not having posted anything in a very long time. I have been insanely preoccupied with a number of other issues. I'm not going to lie; things have gotten tough and they may get worse before they get better. A poem that always helps me to get through tough times is Invictus by William Ernest Henley. I highly recommend that you look it up.
As far as my writing is concerned, my role with Border Eco Magazíne has diminished greatly and I won't be able to write as many articles as before. There is a silver lining though. This allows me to focus my creative energy on my fiction, which I have been doing a lot of.
Along that same topic, I have put the sequel to Conflict on hold. I've been doing a lot of short story writing and I'm currently working on getting a number of them published. That's the reason I haven't posted any new ones to the blog.
I do need something from all of you though. I need reviews! If you have read Conflict To Secure A Nation or any of my short stories, please post a review either on here in the comments, or on my Facebook page. You can also go to my website @ www.jpwright.tateauthor.com .
Well I should probably get at least some sleep so I'm off. Remember, "It matters not how strait the gate; how charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul." -from Invictus by William Ernest Henley.
